About the Team
Tom Fortune kick-started his career as a digital marketer after completing his Bachelor’s Degree at James Madison University, and has served as the Marketing Director for OVM Financial for the past 5 years.
Born and raised in Hampton, Virginia, and a long-time resident of Virginia Beach, Tom knows our area well, which is great, because on top of his marketing skills, he is a licensed mortgage loan originator.
Tom holds a heavy interest in Real Estate and has purchased and sold many properties for investment. Because of his experience as a buyer and seller himself, he has (figuratively) walked in his customer’s shoes and knows the ins and outs of the mortgage industry from both sides of the table. This personal knowledge allows him to provide a top-notch experience, as he recognizes firsthand what is important to people when they’re in the homebuying process.
When he’s not working, Tom loves spending time with his wife and two kids, hanging at the beach, surfing, and golfing.
