I am a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, having grown up in Poquoson. I have been in the mortgage industry since 1994 and have closed over 180,000,000 in loans in my career. I am an avid scuba diver, baseball fanatic (Go Red Sox), a husband and father of 2 great kids. I hold a dual bachelors degree in accounting and finance from Franklin Pierce University and a certificate in Financial Management from Cornell University. My passions are people and ensuring that they have a path to financial freedom, ensuring families have a solid foundation for the future by providing mortgage services that fit their income and lifestyle as well as delivering results that are measurable and impactful.
I started pursuing self-employed borrowers a few years ago. I realized that this segment of the market was underserved and that access to credit and capital was strenuous at best. It has been a perfect marriage. At the heart of what I do is Financial Analysis. My strength is being about to pull apart financial information and reformulate it back into its logical formulate for income analysis, cash flow analysis and constructing balance sheets. I love accounting and I flair for being able to take complex problems and break them down into useable parts. Self-employed borrowers present the perfect opportunity to serve my fellow man, stimulate my mind by doing the quantitative analysis required to meet the challenges that self-employed borrowers present.
