I am a Virginia Beach native, born and raised. The product of a military family, I have moved around a few times, but always considered Hampton Roads to be home. I attended Green Run High School and went on to graduate from Virginia Wesleyan College. I graduated with a Business Management degree, with no real idea on what direction I would take in my rapidly approaching life after college. I was recruited to be a Mortgage Loan Originator by a High School friend who had been a loan officer for some time. It was the best career decision I could have ever made, as it is a position that I feel natural and have excelled in since getting licensed in 2004, while also being a rewarding job.
I treat every client like family, and it shows in the results. Many past clients I consider to very good friends, because you do get to know them through the process. But, I also realize that this is a huge investment, and oftentimes a scary one. I try to make sure that each client understands the process, and more importantly, why we do the things that we do. In the end, it makes the transaction run smoother, and you can see the joy on their faces when they are handed the keys to their new home. In the end, I just feel lucky to have been a small part in them experiencing that joy.
No matter the size of the loan, or the obstacles you may face, I will be the loan officer that will stay by your side, throughout the process. I want all my clients to understand the mortgage process and to realize that I am a partner with them, not just on the path to closing, but for ever afterwards as well.
